Whether you're a longtime Apple fan who upgrades every year or a newcomer to the brand, everyone should invest in a good iPhone case. Despite improvements to durability, shielding your device, even with a thin, decorative option, can make a big difference in keeping it safe from scratches, dents, and irreversible screen shattering. With that in mind, I've gathered all of the best iPhone 18 Pro cases you can buy now, below.

Thanks to Apple's huge user base, there is no shortage of cases for the new smartphone. From Casetify's crowd-pleasing prints to Bellroy's sleek wallet cases, there's already a design for every type of iPhone 18 Pro owner. Check out the best from brands we've tried, researched, and loved below, and peep my guide to preordering your iPhone 18 Pro if you haven't secured your device yet.

The best iPhone 18 Pro Cases

  • Top-tier protection
When it comes to top-tier protection, it doesn't get better than OtterBox. The brand is known for the most robust of cases, making it the right investment for clumsy iPhone 18 Pro owners, parents with rough kids, and outdoorsy folks who put their device through the wringer.
  • Exclusive patterns and prints
Device shielding doesn't have to be boring — Casetify makes sure of it with a vast library of exclusive artist designs. From pastel florals and animal prints to beloved characters, there's a Casetify option for every iPhone 18 Pro owner, complete with the brand's durable Impact Case protection.
  • Grippy woven fabric
If your slippery grip is the main factor threatening your iPhone 18 Pro, Mkeke's affordable Techwoven cases provide a unique textured surface that's easy to hold. They also come in a variety of neutral colors to best fit your personal style, making them an excellent choice for subtle accessorizing.
  • Wallet cases that look designer
Wallet cases extend the utility of your smartphone, whether you're running quick errands or packing light while clubbing. Bellroy makes some of our favorite ones, with sleek, real and faux leather options that fit right in with even pricey designer wallets.
  • A wallet, phone, and purse in one
Bandolier's cases are in a league of their own, turning smartphones into a wearable accessory unlike any other. With both neutral and standout faux leather prints combined with a variety of different wallet attachment styles and straps, it's more than just a case — it's an extension of your iPhone 18 Pro.
  • A protective X-ray clear case
Spigen hits the sweet spot between quality and price that best suits your average iPhone 18 Pro user. Its cases offer ample protection for daily usage, usually cost less than $20, and for the Neo One, offer unique hardware prints that add a flair of personal style without being too loud.
  • The most affordable you can find
Did you blow your budget buying your new iPhone? Don't fret — you can still afford a trustworthy case to keep your new purchase safe. Fntcase is one of our favorites for keeping costs low, and we recommend trusting nothing cheaper than this.
  • Plenty of protection under $50
If protection is your top priority but budget remains a factor, Torras' shockproof cases are the best you can find that won't cost an arm and a leg. They're also slimmer than more high-defense options and come in more colors, making it possible to have a pop of color without sacrificing phone safety.
  • Zagg protection with a stand
Zagg is known for products that offer rugged protection, and the Rainier Case is yet another to fall under that category. With its thick, shock-absorbing bumpers in a variety of colors, this option is a nice way to have some fun style and also add a kickstand functionality to your iPhone 18 Pro.
  • Iconic woven slim shells
Though it won't offer the most robust drop protection, Pitaka's known for unique woven cases invoking sunsets, starry skies, neutral colors, and more. Its cases are super slim and perfect for pocketing without getting snagged.
  • Vintage designs unlike any other
Burga's cases balance protection with unique design that you can customize down to the metal finishes. If you like to have a matching set, you can also get the same prints for your earbuds and tablet cases.
  • Vivid, stand-out cases
Speck has been in the phone case game for years, and its designs still deliver the same hard-candy protection of early brand classics. It's Icon Case is on the bulkier side, but it offers the thick shielding that clumsy owners might need.

What is the best iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max case?

As I always say, the best iPhone 18 Pro case depends on your needs as a user. Shoppers looking for the most protection will get the most coverage from an OtterBox Defender Series Pro, while style-minded owners will prefer the purse-like qualities of Bandolier or customization of Casetify. Wallet-case lovers should look into Bellroy's all-in-one options, while those with tight budgets can make do with a Fntcase.

If you're looking for the best balance of appearance, quality, and price, Spigen's cases check all the boxes — but for a slight price increase or decrease, you may be able to find something you prefer more.

Do iPhone 17 Pro cases fit the iPhone 18 Pro?

Overall, iPhone 17 Pro cases can fit the iPhone 18 Pro, thanks to the devices' similar specs. However, unless a product specifies that it works for both, it's always advisable to upgrade your case when you upgrade your phone. Just because a case "fits" doesn't mean it is designed with all of the device's hardware in mind, which may mean the protection is lacking.

What screen protector should I get?

If you're shopping for a screen protector too, you're a smart cookie. A phone case is half the battle; the other half is shielding your screen to prevent scratches, or worse, shattering.

I recommend looking into Spigen's GlasTR EZ Fit Screen Protectors for an option from a brand we trust. Alternatively, the super-budget-friendly AmFilm OneTouch screen protectors are a tried-and-true personal favorite, especially since they come with extra replacements to swap in when you damage your first one.
