    A crossbody phone case
We love Bandolier's tech cases for turning your phone into a wearable accessory. It's more than just a cute twist on device protection — it's also an excellent loss-prevention feature for those of us prone to misplacing our iPhone 18 Pro Max.

A look into the phone's hardware
If your average clear case won't cut it, Spigen's Neo One cases offer a unique teardown-style graphic that gives it a retro futuristic aesthetic unlike other options. It comes with the brand's signature durability, quality, and anti-yellowing plastic.

Artist designs on a durable base
Casetify's huge collection of small artist-designed shells is an excellent place for iPhone 18 Pro Max owners who want some personal flair on their case. With colorful animals, bold graphics, and y2k patterns to choose from, there's an option for every aesthetic.
  • Airbags for your iPhone
The sporty Torras Q3 Air features strategic air cushions in the case's bumpers to help absorb the shock from drops. It's a durable, yet relatively slim option for the iPhone 18 Pro Max that offers a bit of style and a built-in magnetic stand.
  • Extreme protection
If you've got butterfingers, there's no better iPhone 18 Pro Max defense than OtterBox's Defender Series. Beneath its unassuming exterior hides port covers, raised edges for glass protection, a built-in camera button, all-over texture, and, of course, military-grade drop protection.
  • Textured fabric finish
Just because you're looking for something cheap doesn't mean you can't have a sleek and modern-looking iPhone 18 Pro Max Case. Mkeke is one of our favorite budget brands, and its new Techwoven cases offer a neutral-colored fabric finish that prevents scratches and adds extra grippiness.
  • All-in-one wallet case
Wallet cases are so in, and Bellroy makes some of the most beautiful and functional you can find. With premium leather and faux leather materials over a sleek and trustworthy base, this iPhone 18 Pro Max case will be pocket-perfect for errands, travel, and more.
  • Durable protection in seven colors
For a pop of color with robust drop protection, Zagg's Rainier Case has you covered. It has a clear back that allows the natural finish of your iPhone 18 Pro Max to shine through, a rugged, dual-layer design, plus a built-in stand for casual viewing convenience.
  • Pocket friendly appeal
Best designed for minimal protection, Pitaka's slim, woven cases give a brand-unique visual that can't be matched. From vivid sunsets to simple patterns, these cases are pleasing to the eye but still offer strong and minimalist shielding from daily damage.
  • Customizable designs
Just when you think you've seen every design an iPhone 18 Pro Max Case has to offer, Burga's massive collection comes in to flood you with more. From vivid patterns to vintage florals on cases you can customize, it's the best option for especially picky phone case shoppers.
  • The cheapest you can trust
It doesn't get more affordable than a $7 clear case, and with a simple yet reliable design we've tried before, this is an option we recommend for especially tight budgets. Whether you're planning to replace it in the future or keep it for simplicity's sake, Fntcase's cheap shells are a tried-and-true favorite of ours.
  • A loud and durable design
If you prefer a case that speaks for itself, look no further than Speck's CandyShell Icon Case for the iPhone 18 Pro Max. This glossy option comes in a handful of vibrant colors, complete with a textured grip, MagSafe compatibility, and hefty drop protection.

What is the best iPhone 18 Pro Max case?

If protecting your iPhone 18 Pro Max is the top priority for your new case, the best option is OtterBox's Defender Series Pro or Zagg's Rainier Case. Alternatively, visually focused shoppers might prefer the vast libraries of designs offered by Casetify and Burga. If you're shopping on a tight budget, Mkeke and Fntcase are my go-tos.

The best iPhone 18 Pro Max case ultimately depends on your needs as a user. If you're shopping for a balance between quality, appearance, and price, I always recommend looking into Spigen's designs.

Do iPhone 17 Pro Max cases fit the iPhone 18 Pro Max?

Luckily, the iPhone 18 Pro Max shares the same dimensions as its predecessor, the iPhone 17 Pro Max. That said, I always advise looking at your case's specifications to ensure it's actually compatible with both devices. Just because a product technically fits, doesn't mean it's designed with the device's hardware in mind — a poor match can result in lackluster drop protection.

What screen protector should I get?

A screen protector is always an excellent investment for new phones, even if the manufacturers boast improved durability with every new generation.

For the iPhone 18 Pro Max, I recommend Spigen's GlasTR EZ Fit Screen Protectors or AmFilm's OneTouch screen protectors. Both are easy to apply, relatively budget-friendly, and come with extras to replace a damaged one.
