SpaceX just landed its 6th rocket — here are some incredible photos from the launch

The Falcon 9 rocket was carrying the Japanese telecommunications satellite JCSat-16, which will deliver video and data services to people in the Asia-Pacific region.

SpaceX successfully landed the lower portion on a drone ship floating in the Atlantic Ocean. This is the sixth rocket SpaceX has successfully landed on Earth, and the fourth to land on a drone ship.
